Health Care
CEA provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the new St. Clair Hospital’s 290,000 sq. ft. Ambulatory Care Center (ACC).
As a part of an overall renovation to the third floor of the hospital, the existing air handling units 2 and 3 were undersized and well beyond their useful life. These unit could not be taken out of service and there was no additional space available to install new units.

This project consisted of consolidating all of the chiller and emergency generators, spread throughout the hospital campus into one central plant for chilled water and emergency power. The new plant will also serve a future patient tower and a new 290,000 sq. ft. Ambulatory Care Center (ACC).
Claitman Engineering Associates served as the MEP/FP engineers on the 320,000 sq. ft. tower addition to the existing hospital.
