Joe Dilley, President

Military Service: Vietnam Era Veteran, US Army, 1970-1973

Throughout 40 years as an employee, principal, and president of Claitman Engineering, Joe has participated in the survey, design, and project management efforts for hundreds of commercial, educational, and institutional buildings.  These projects range from new, retrofit, and historical significant buildings.  Joe has established a reputation of managing projects within given time frames and budget constraints with minimal change orders.

Todd Chamberlain, Vice President

1987 Youngstown State University, BSAS, Structural Engineering

Todd has over 28 years of experience as a designer, project manager, and owner.  His experience includes a wide variety of projects with clients ranging from institutional, religious, and commercial-to-industrial projects.  His responsibilities include contract administration, project management, design, and administration of mechanical projects including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.  Todd has the ability to coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors to bring projects to a successful completion.

Ron Wuenstel, Vice President

Ron has over 25 years experience in the building construction industry.  He has managed the building systems engineering design for a diverse portfolio of projects.  Ron has worked on everything from high-end residential to multi-billion dollar semi-conductor fabrication plants.  He has the ability to adapt to a project’s needs while still meeting schedule deadlines and budgets.  Ron is involved in all phases of project design from the acquisition of the project through the final punch list visit.  Ron is also part of the LEED design team in the office, providing energy efficient HVAC design solutions and energy modeling.

Rick Sabol, PE Electrical Engineer

Rick has over 20 years of experience as a project engineer including design for commercial, government, healthcare, and educational facilities.  Responsibilities include design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, site utilities, and communications systems.

 

Rick has over 3 years of experience as a project manager for a large telecommunications firm.  Responsible for providing lead project management in support of sales and strategic products for numerous customers.  Duties include coordinating implementation activities among the branch sales team, customer, third party vendors, order entry, provisioning, CPE, test and activation centers, managed services, and several other internal groups.

John Fehrenbach, PE Mechanical Engineer

Bret Conaway, EIT Electrical Engineer

Bret has over 5 years of experience working for design consulting MEP firms assisting in electrical design for retail, commercial, healthcare, educational and food service facilities.  Also, he has EIT certification and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Bret’s responsibilities include design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, site utilities, and communications systems. He assists in developing all necessary electrical systems and reflects those ideas onto a thorough and complete construction document.

Kelly Sherbine, Designer/CAD Operator

Kelly has over 15 years experience in building systems design.  Kelly has a good understanding of building mechanics and is able to apply that knowledge to institute complete and operating building mechanical systems.  He is proficient in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design.a

Bob Jozwiak, Senior Electrical/Telecommunications Designer

Bob has over 30+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer in the private utility and public sectors.  He is proficient in industrial and commercial power, and lighting design, as well as, electrical wiring design and power quality.

 

Bob is a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Paul Richards, Senior Mechanical Designer

Paul has over 23 years experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design in the United States and the Middle East.  Prior to rejoining Claitman Engineering, Paul worked for a large plumbing contractor in the Pittsburgh region.

Tom Davis, Senior Electrical Designer

Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC designer/CADD Operator; 27+ years of multi-disciplined drafting and engineering design.  19+ years using AutoCAD (Releases 10 through 2014 MEP), Autosketch, and Vectorworks.  Various management duties, including managing a geotechnical lab.  Experience in geothermal projects.  Assembled information for grant applications, permitting, patents, and funding.  Utilities contact and coordination.  13 year's experience in construction materials testing and field inspection (formerly NICET certified).

Andy Rommes, Senior Designer

Andy has bin in this industry for over 20 years.  He has a very diverse skill set with regards to the types of projects that he has been involved.  Andy's responsibilities include the design and layout of HVAC systems. Andy takes the concept and scope of a projects from the engineer and is able to create a complete set of building documents with a great understanding of the systems involved.  

Pete Richards, Senior Mechanical Designer

Pete currently has over 35 years of experience in the mechanical and/or engineering field and possess the Certified in Plumbing Engineering designer certification ‘CPD’ (active until May 2020) and presently is creating Mechanical/Plumbing design work.    His relevant work history has required the ability to travel, meet and coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection work with architects, code officials and inspectors. Responsibilities have included leadership roles, client relationship, concept designs, layout coordination, design modifications, air/wet calculations, writing project specifications, construction phase services, engineering field support and quality control reviews.

Roman Jarosz, Electrical Designer / CAD Opertor

Roman has been an electrical designer/CAD operator for over 30 years.  Roman's responsiblities include creating demolition, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and telecommunication plans for various project types.

Steve Ciccone, CAD Operator

Graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College with an Associates Degree in Science, Computer Aided Drafting.  Assist Engineers and Designers in the completion of mechanical systems projects for various buildings and facilities.
