Todd has over 35 years of experience as a designer, project manager, and owner.  His experience includes a wide variety of projects with clients ranging from institutional, religious, and commercial-to-industrial projects.  His responsibilities include contract administration, project management, design, and administration of mechanical projects including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.  Todd has the ability to coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors to bring projects to a successful completion.

Ron Wuenstel

Vice President

Ron has over 30 years experience in the building construction industry.  He has managed the building systems engineering design for a diverse portfolio of projects.  Ron has worked on everything from high-end residential to multi-billion dollar semi-conductor fabrication plants.  He has the ability to adapt to a project’s needs while still meeting schedule deadlines and budgets.  Ron is involved in all phases of project design from the acquisition of the project through the final punch list visit.  Ron is also part of the LEED design team in the office, providing energy efficient HVAC design solutions and energy modeling.

Rick Sabol, PE

Electrical Engineer, Principal

​Rick has over 20 years of experience as a project engineer including design for commercial, government, healthcare, and educational facilities.  Responsibilities include design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, site utilities, and communications systems.


Rick has over 3 years of experience as a project manager for a large telecommunications firm.  Responsible for providing lead project management in support of sales and strategic products for numerous customers.  Duties include coordinating implementation activities among the branch sales team, customer, third party vendors, order entry, provisioning, CPE, test and activation centers, managed services, and several other internal groups.

Jim Boris


​With over 20 years experience, Jim is a qualified building systems designer.  He assists the engineer in developing systems and reflects those ideas onto a thorough and complete construction document.  Jim is proficient in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design.


John Fehrenbach, PE Mechanical Engineer

John has over 12 years experience in HVAC system design and project management.  He has worked for design consulting MEP firms and design/build firms with heavy experience in HVAC design for universities, K-12, retail, commercial offices, laboratories, and military facilities.  John has acted as lead engineer on many projects, as well as department head of the mechanical design department with a previous employer.

Bill Ruozzi, PE Senior Mechanical Engineer

Bill has over 35 years of experience in commercial and institutional HVAC systems, boiler and chiller plant piping, lab ventilation systems and hospital clean rooms. As Senior Mechanical Engineer he is responsible for selection, specification and layout of HVAC and Plumbing systems for a wide range of projects.

Corey Bierer, PE Mechanical Engineer

Corey has great ability to coordinate with both Professional Engineers as well as Architects.  Mr. Bierer demonstrates knowledge of both AutoCAD and Revit.  His responsibilities include the design and drafting of plumbing and fire protection systems for various projects. He is tasked with selecting equipment and composing technical specifications for domestic water, sanitary, medical gas, and sprinkler systems.  Mr. Bierer has a working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 99, IPC and IBCm 

Bret Conaway, EIT Electrical Engineer

Bret has over 5 years of experience working for design consulting MEP firms assisting in electrical design for retail, commercial, healthcare, educational and food service facilities.  Also, he has EIT certification and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Bret’s responsibilities include design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, site utilities, and communications systems. He assists in developing all necessary electrical systems and reflects those ideas onto a thorough and complete construction document.

Eric Cofield, Electrical Engineer

Eric has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Technology from California University of Pennsylvania. With 3 years of experience within the design MEP industry Eric has assisted Engineers in design work that ranges from medium voltage design to K-12, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, and recreation sector.  His responsibilities have ranged from formulating and preparing documents, to designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, site utilities, and communication systems.

Jesse Bierer, Mechanical Engineer

Jesse has two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University. Jesse has 3 years of mechanical design experience for consulting MEP firms ranging from the healthcare industry, higher education, laboratories, K-12, and office projects. Jesse is experienced in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office. Jesse’s responsibilities ranged from the design of heating and cooling systems, high air change requirement rooms, protective environments, and hot and chilled water systems. Jesse has experience interacting and communicating with clients and owner’s to ensure the deliverables are of the highest quality and satisfaction is met.

Christian Mathews, Electrical Engineer

Christian has a B.S in Energy Engineering from Ohio University. He has great ability to coordinate with both Professional Engineers as well as Architects.  His responsibilities include the design and drafting of electrical systems for various projects.

Bob Jozwiak, Senior Electrical/Telecommunications Designer

Bob has over 30+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer in the private utility and public sectors.  He is proficient in industrial and commercial power, and lighting design, as well as, electrical wiring design and power quality.


Bob is a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Doug Bruckner, Senior Electrical Designer

Mr. Bruckner has over 40 years of experience in the industrial and commercial electrical sectors.  His background includes work in the Industrial fields of mining, metals, glass, food, and material handling industries and in the Commercial fields of Education, Food Service, Data Centers and Healthcare.  As Senior Electrical Designer, he is responsible for selection, specification and layout for a wide range of projects.  In addition, some of the projects included the commissioning and start-up of electrical equipment and control systems.

Kelly Sherbine, Designer/CAD Operator

Kelly has over 15 years experience in building systems design.  Kelly has a good understanding of building mechanics and is able to apply that knowledge to institute complete and operating building mechanical systems.  He is proficient in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design.

Andy Rommes, Senior Designer

Andy has bin in this industry for over 20 years.  He has a very diverse skill set with regards to the types of projects that he has been involved.  Andy's responsibilities include the design and layout of HVAC systems. Andy takes the concept and scope of a projects from the engineer and is able to create a complete set of building documents with a great understanding of the systems involved.  

Paul Richards, Senior Mechanical Designer

Paul has over 23 years experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design in the United States and the Middle East.  Prior to rejoining Claitman Engineering, Paul worked for a large plumbing contractor in the Pittsburgh region.

Tom Davis, Senior Electrical Designer

Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC designer/CADD Operator; 27+ years of multi-disciplined drafting and engineering design.  19+ years using AutoCAD (Releases 10 through 2014 MEP), Autosketch, and Vectorworks.  Various management duties, including managing a geotechnical lab.  Experience in geothermal projects.  Assembled information for grant applications, permitting, patents, and funding.  Utilities contact and coordination.  13 year's experience in construction materials testing and field inspection (formerly NICET certified).
