Claitman Engineering Associates, Inc. (Claitman Engineering) was founded more than fifty years ago by World War II Veteran, Edward Claitman. His goal was to provide the most efficient and practical building systems engineering design solutions. After Mr. Claitman's retirement in 1986, this approach continued as the company's cornerstone philosophy under new owners Robert L. Rosenthal and Harry Hurd.
In 1999, a seamless change in ownership by principals, Joseph P. Dilley, Todd Chamberlain, and Ronald Wuenstel, continues to provide quality HVAC Engineering, Energy Management, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Design Services; continuing the philosophy the company was founded upon.
In 1999, Claitman Engineering added an Electrical Engineering Group to the already established Mechanical Systems Group. We now offer to our clients a complete compliment of Power Systems Design Services with a focus on systems integration and energy efficiency.
In 2008, Claitman Engineering completed its first LEED Certified building; Consol Energy Headquarters, located in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania.
Driven by a "continuing client" commitment, Claitman Engineering offers engineering solutions in the most professional manner, and has evolved into a highly respected firm in the Architectural/Engineering design community.
By organizing solid working partnerships with owners, architects, engineers, builders, Claitman Engineering integrates design solutions with clients' input and goals, within budget. This effort results in systems that enhance a building's comfort, recognizing its aesthetics while remaining reliable and energy efficient.
