Claitman Engineering Associates, Inc. was founded by Ed Claitman in 1965 as a mechanical building systems design firm with the goal of providing the most efficient, practical engineering design solutions.  This approach continues as the company’s cornerstone design philosophy. Driven by a commitment to offer practical engineering solutions in the most professional manner, Claitman Engineering has evolved into a highly respected firm in the design community.  In 1985 the company was Purchased by Robert Rosenthall and Harry Hurd.  In 2002 the company added an Electrical Design Group. This gave the company full building systems design services. The current ownership group purchased the assets of Lovorn Engineering.  We believe that growing our practice will allow us the opportunity to provide more depth and a wider array of services.  Combining Lovorn Engineering Associates staff with Claitman Engineering’s staff will allow us to work on a variety of projects, large or small.  LEA has extensive experience in the design of healthcare facilities, and this is a market that we will be actively pursuing along with the telecom, institutional, commercial, light industrial and K12 work that both companies have performed in the past.   

By organizing solid working partnerships with owners, architects, engineers and builders, CEA integrates design solutions with clients’ goals.  This results in systems that enhance a building’s aesthetics while remaining reliable and efficient.
